Portland Zine Symposium

I attended the Portland Zine Symposium on August 12th and 13th. I put together all my Hoot 'N' Whoo comic strips into a neat little comicbook zine and sold them at the Electric Squid table, way over in the back corner. If you attended too, drop us a line and let me know what you thought of it.

Hoot 'N' Whoo

I was asked to create a little comic strip for "Electric Squid", a local zine. I had come up with a cute owl sketch last summer while at a restaurant in Seattle and thought a couple of owls would make a good subject.

I will post new comics of Hoot 'N' Whoo on the blog so that way if you want to subscribe to the RSS feed, you'll be able to see the new ones as they come out. Also I have archived them here at BeeBot.com so you'll always be able to see any that you miss. Let me know if you like it.

BeeBot the Robotic Bee

I'm really having fun now. I've been studying comic book art and I've gone back to my characters. So of course I needed to do a new BeeBot sketch. I was surprised to see that I really only had the one small image of BeeBot on the web site. I found many drawings of BeeBot including his propeller wings and sketches of him in flight. So this will be the first of many. Perhaps now I can complete all the animations for creating the Agent character.

Adventures of NoreGreb Comic Book

I've started work on the pencils for my new pocket sized comic book called "The Adventures of NoreGreb". The font I've used is Anime Ace by Blambot. I really admire the work on Blambot.

Anyway, I hope to turn this into a mini 8 page book. So stay tooned to see the progress.
